Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum has expressed his satisfaction with the club's new signings, stating that they are in line with what the fans had hoped for.
The Porcupine Warriors have been busy in the transfer market, bringing in several new players after releasing around 18 following a disappointing 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
The team's goal is to improve their performance and satisfy their supporters, and they made a strong statement in their first preseason friendly, defeating Arthur Football Academy 8-0 at Adako Jachie. Albert Amoah (2 goals), Peter Amidu, Saaka Dauda, Baba Yahaya, Bernard Somuah, Kareem, and Victor Asamoah were among the scorers for Kotoko.
In an interview with Peace FM as monitored by Footballghana.com, Ogum expressed his confidence in the new signings, saying, "It is an indication that what they want is what we have brought to their doorsteps"
"If you look at some of the individual players, they are players that I think the supporters themselves had in mind. They were thinking, hoping, and praying that the coach would identify them."
