Hearts of Oak is on the verge of securing a new addition to their squad with the imminent signing of former Legon Cities striker Kwabena Boateng.
The 18-year-old is on track to finalize a permanent contract with Hearts of Oak in the coming days, following a productive medical evaluation conducted on Wednesday, August 7, 2024.
Boateng is expected to sign a three-year deal with the Phobians soon. His move to Hearts of Oak comes as a free transfer, following the conclusion of his contract with Legon Cities after the end of the 2023/24 league season.
He was a part of the Hearts team that played to a 3-3 draw with Bechem United in a preseason friendly at Pobiman on Wednesday afternoon.
Boateng featured in 28 games for Legon Cities last season and netted six times.
