Francis Gyetuah has signed a two-year contract extension with reigning Ghana Premier League champions FC Samartex 1996, having triggered a clause in his current contract.



The Enterprising left-winger put pen to paper on the new deal with the Timber Giants which will keep him at Nsenkyire Sports Arena until 2026, the club made the announcement on their various social media handles.



Gyetuah, 27, is delighted with the new deal and looks forward to helping Samartex and contributing to the club's future successes.



"I am extremely thrilled to extend my stay with my boyhood club until 2026. I love this club and its project that is why I have decided to be part of the team in the next two years to build a timeless legacy," said Francis Gyetuah.



Gyetuah is rated very highly by Samartex and will be hoping to impress when the squad regroup for the new season. In the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season he featured in 29 games and netted one goal.



With this extension, Gyetuah will be targeting further match minutes for The Timber Giants when the 2024/2025 season finally gets underway.
