Former Ghana International, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu is optimistic Great Olympics will escape relegation as the season nears its closure.
Olympics have endured an utter mess of a season with yet another crawling performance in Sunday's 0-0 draw at Karela leaving them 16th in the Ghana Premier League.
However, Agyemang Badu who last played for the 'Dade' side believes they'll arrest the slide as relegation remains a mathematical possibility.
"Let me state this, Olympics will never go to relegation. That will not happen. It's a wonder club, so at times, things like this can happen. I'm very optimistic that Olympics will survive," he told Original FM.
Despite his premature exit from the club, nevertheless, he still remains committed and cocksure in supporting the Accra-basd side.
"Although I have some problems and I'm not with them right now, I don't want my name to be in the history books that I signed for them and the team went on relegation," he emphasised.
Great Olympics must claim crunch victories in all their remaining three matches to survive. They will welcome Accra Lions to the WAFA Park on Sunday, before nipping-it-down with Dreams FC and then wrapping up their season against Nsoatreman.
