The struggling coach who has been speculated he could be asked to step-aside has reaffirmed he is the coach of Aduana Stars despite the club's uninspiring output in the Ghana Premier League this season.
In the ongoing campaign, the Fire Boys - led by Yaw Acheampong have had a poor start to the 2024-25 league season, forcing Aduana Stars to be pushed to the 15th position of the table, having led the club to win just one game, losing three and securing five draws.
Yaw Acheampong's position at Aduana is uncertain and most football enthusiasts think he is an outgone coach of the two times champions of Ghana, but he has confidently stated that he is still in charge of the dugout at Aduana Stars.
“I am still in charge of Aduana Stars,” he said as he whitewashed any talks of getting sacked by the club.
Aduana Stars will host Karela United in Matchday 10 of the Ghana Premier League on Sunday, November 10 at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
