Bibiani GoldStars CEO Kwasi Adu believes his team has the potential to win the Ghana Premier League title if their consistent efforts and hard work merit it by the season’s end.
The Gye Nyame lads currently lead the league standings after nine matchdays, showcasing the league’s best defensive record and amassing 13 out of a possible 15 points in their home games. They sit three points clear of second-placed Nations FC and remain unbeaten, sparking growing discussions about their title aspirations.
With a record of five wins, including a notable 1-0 away victory over Hearts of Oak, and four draws, GoldStars are proving to be strong title contenders. However, Adu remains cautious about their ambitions, stating the importance of sustained effort and professionalism.
"Every team in the Ghana Premier League aims to win the title. If we manage to secure it, it will bring great prestige to the club," Adu told Asempa FM. "This is our fourth season in the league, and if the opportunity to win presents itself, we’ll embrace it wholeheartedly. We’ll continue to work hard and, if our efforts merit it, we’ll gladly take the title."
Bibiani GoldStars are set to face Young Apostles in Wenchi for their match week ten fixture as they look to maintain their unbeaten run and strengthen their lead at the top of the table.
