Hearts of Oak legend, Bernard Don Bortey has lambasted current players of the club to make an extra effort in ensuring their performance increases during matches.
According to Bortey, the players are not children who are now being taught how to kick a football.
"You are not a 12-year old child who has now been taught how to play football. What I will say is the football is in them, they should shake themselves a little bit," he told Peace FM.
Hearts of Oak have failed to perform to expectation, causing widespread disappointment among the fans.
The Phobians are currently 6th on the league standing with 46 points after 30 rounds of matches in the ongoing 2024/25 season.
Hearts of Oak will clash with Berekum Chelsea in their next league match on Sunday, May 18.
