Harry Zakour, a former Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Hearts of Oak has urged the club to prioritize finishing the league as a top-four-seeded side at the end of the current season.
The Phobians have had a disappointing start to the season, which has left them sixth in Ghana Premier League log — leaving them outside the African places.
However, Zakour has entreated his former side to stay focus and wrap up the season in a good position that befits their status as a continental club masters.
“Last season, the club underperformed and finished in an unpleasant position. However, this year, the team has shown significant improvement. With only a few matches remaining, they are in a much better position. Considering their current standing, they should aim to finish third or fourth in the league. It's crucial for them to maintain their focus and continue pushing forward to secure a strong finish,” he told Kessben FM.
Hearts of Oak will clash with Berekum Chelsea in Matchweek 31 fixture on Sunday, May 18.
