Nations FC Brands and Communications Manager, Kennedy Boakye Ansah has hailed the clubs striker Faisal Charwetey amid the youngsters superb season.

The Abrankese based side have enjoyed a superb season and sit first in the Ghana Premier League, with CAF Champions League qualification firmly on the horizon.

Now, former Asante Kotoko Public Relations Officer has hailed the ruthless goal sniffer, tagging him as Nations FC's "best player this season", having scored 11 goals so far, in the ongoing Ghanaian top flight.

Charwetey has been integral to the club's fine form; in addition to his brave, trickery attacking, he has also contributed couple of goals this season, ahead of their Match week 31 fixture against Legon Cities on Monday, May 19, his "idol" Boakye Ansah has been full of praise for the star.

Ansah told Citi Sports: "Faisal [Charwetey] has been a great addition to our squad. We picked him from Akatsi All Stars in the Access Bank Division One League, and I must say he has been one of the unsung heroes for Nations FC.

"Faisal had an opportunity to play for the local Black Stars-Black Galaxies-unfortunately, he wasn’t selected for the two games against Nigeria [in the CHAN qualifiers playoffs], but that notwithstanding, he has kept his form and has scored 11 goals in the Ghana League."
