Former Black Stars midfielder, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has stated that Legon Cities can not be ruled out of the Ghana Premier League despite their poor start this season.

The Royals handed over a surprise defeat package (2-1) to Asante Kotoko on Wednesday night in an outstanding (matchday 6) encounter played at the University of Ghana Stadium

Before their game against the Porcupine Warriors, they had succumbed to five defeats and two draw stalemates.

But, Agyemang Badu argued that Legon Cities are a good side but have not been clinical in their premier league games.

"You can't write Legon Cities out. I have watched their games, I have seen the way that they have been playing. It is unfortunate that they can't score but today they had the luck," he told 3 Sports.

"You know the coach who is coaching them. Paa Kwesi Fabin is one of the coaches who whenever he meets Asante Kotoko he gives them a lot of problems and headaches and I am not surprised they won the game tonight. The game was also exciting."
