An epic clash between giants Asante Kotoko and Legon Cities on Saturday afternoon at the WAFA Arena in Sogakope, will headline match-day 12 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season.
Whiles the Royals set sights on putting an end to their four-game winless run, the Reds are also looking very desperate this time in order not to return to their unpleasant strings of poor results in recent times.
Legon Cities FC succumbed to a slim 1-0 defeat at Berekum Chelsea last week and are very keen on getting a win this time around to return on winning ways.
They are currently based in the relegation zone and sit 16th on the standing with just 12 points after 11 games.
However, the Porcupine Warriors finally redeemed themselves at the mercy of their supporters with a vital 1-0 trimuph over champions Medeama SC last week in Kumasi, thanks to Sheriff Mohammed's second half penalty.
The 'Kum Apem' lads after the win have now jumped onto the 16th spot with 13 points, and will have to play their hearts out to atleast avoid a defeat, or will fall back in danger.
