Former Member of Parliament for Tema East constituency in the Greater Accra Region, Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover has urged Black Stars coach Otto Addo not to include Jordan and Andrew Ayew in his starting lineup against Portugal.
Ghana will kick off their World Cup opener with the Seleção at the 44,089 capacity Stadium 974 in Ras Abu Aboud, Doha in their Group H opener on Thursday.
Speaking in an interview with TV3, the former lawmaker said; "I would want Jordan Ayew to be on the bench, Andre Ayew should come on as a substitute for at least 15 to 20 minutes.
"I love his charisma and I love the way he motivates his teammates to win games and so I would love him to come as a substitute so he can drive his teammates on to win. I know we'll win against Portugal," he added.
Ghana will be starting their World Cup campaign on Thursday (November 24) against the Seleção.
The four-time (won in 1963, 1965, 1978, and 1982) African champions will wrap-up their group stage fixtures with a game against South Korea and Uruguay.
