Deniz Undav is a German Turkish professional attacker who plays for VFB Stuttgart in the Bundesliga and a former player for English Premier League team Brighton. In the late afternoon kickoff away to Eintracht Frankfurt, Deniz Undav two first half goals in the first and 45+1 did the magic for the visitors as they won by 1-2.

Deniz Undav was a surprise weapon Stuttgart manager Sabastian Hoeness lanched on the Frankfurt Coach Dino Toppmoller in the sense that second Bundesliga topscorer Serhou Guirassy who has 15 goals was the obvious target to start the game. Thereby breaking Frankfurt's home record of 7 wins,  7 clean sheets in 7 matches.

There are rumours of Guirassy leaving the club in the January transfer window and the coach would like to keep his alternative alive if that truly happen. That could be a factor for Daniz Undav's surprise start in this intense fixture. Guirassy came into the game in the 59th minute with Deniz Undav exiting on the 80th minute mark.

His goal keeps Stuttgart at third position with 27 points in the league standings; 5 points behind second place Bayern Munich and 7 points behind league leaders Bayer Leverkusen.

His brace marked his 9th Bundesliga goal in ten appearances this season. In total he has 10 goal contributions in 10 matches played this Bundesliga season.

Stuttgart fans would hope such tweak continuous often as they face Werder Bremen, Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich and Augsburg to the end of the year. They face Dortmund in the cup games as well.
