Club Brugge star Kamal Sowah made his senior Ghana debut in their win against Switzerland in a pre-World Cup friendly on Thursday.
The promising forward came on in the 62nd minute - replacing Hearts of Oak kid Daniel Afriyie Barnieh, to help the Black Stars to win 2-0 over the Central European side.
He sat in his usual forward role and was able to lay good passes by pressing further forwards regularly - with the Black Stars flexing their attacking muscles against the 15th-ranked Red Crosses.
The victory confirmed their readiness for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. And it was a night to remember for the four-time African champions, with one other debut and first goal scored.
A Mohammed Salisu's header put Ghana ahead in the second half, with Antoine Semenyo adding the second just five minutes later to secure a win for the Black Stars.
Ghana will open their World Cup campaign on November 24 against Portugal in their first Group H game at the Stadium 974 in Ras Abu Aboud in Doha, Qatar.
