The most anticipated European football competition resumes this week, to kick off the campaign “Road to Instanbul” where the final will take place in Turkey.
There are 32 teams participating in the competition, grouped in 8 groups of 4 teams each in an all play all home and away fixture with the top two teams qualifying to the knockout stage.
The Group stages will start tomorrow; Tuesday and continue on Wednesday, with a couple of high profile fixtures; with PSG taking on Juventus at home, Man City going away to see it off with Sevilla on Tuesday. And on Wednesday; Napoli will host Liverpool at the D.A.M Stadium and Inter inviting Bayern to the Guiseppe Meazza Stadium in Italy.
Last season’s UEFA Champions League winners Real Madrid CF will begin their Champions League trophy defense with a trip to Scotland to face Scottish Champions Celtic on Tuesday night.
