Arsenal fourth win in the Champions League came against a team that prevented them from picking up five in five and this time in a grand style fashion at the Emirates Stadium.

Incessant display from the Gunners in the first half saw them put in fifth gear performance and most of all shipping in five goals to their good without reply. Arsenal dancing their way through the heart of Lens like sharp knife cutting through hot butter.

Arsenal went into this game knowing that a win for them secures their qualification and guarantees them top of the table. For about less than 30 minutes, Arsenal had put four past their opponents. Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus, Saka and Martinelli scored the fourth as captain Odegaard on the stroke of half time which as well put the game into a comfortable bed with their front five all on the score sheet.

Arsenal gave Lens a night to forget as they did what Arsenal does best. Roll the ball pass their opponents like they are shadows. Jorginho converted from the penalty spot on the 86th minutes to give Arsenal their first Champions League knockout round for the first time in seven years.

Gabriel Jesus took the Man of the Match award for this match. Catastrophe for Lens as they return to France with a very huge defeat. Six different goalscorers for the English team. Arsenal go into their next round of matches with their heads high after ruthlessly destroying Lens at home.
