The 24 year old English attacking midfielder suffered a horrific car crash this morning on his way to training with his team Sporting CP.
Marcus Edwards who joined Sporting CP in 2022 have been a really good signing to the club.
His team travel to Italy to face Atalanta in the Europa League tomorrow to see who become leaders in the group. On his way to training, he gets involved in an accident. Reports are that he was not injured physically but he is affected emotionally.
Marcus Edwards was seen shaken as he was frightened due to the accident he suffered. The other driver who was also involved in the same accident was also not affected.
Marcus Edwards who is very active on social media has not posted anything on his page about his well-being for now.
He came from the Spurs academy and spent four years with the Tottenham Hotspurs' first team. He was on loan for two seasons to Norwich and Excelsior before making the move to Vitoria de Guimarães in 2020 but he joined Sporting CP in 2022.
Marcus Edwards is not injured from the accident he suffered and could potentially mean he can be back into the field in no time after proper assessment.
