Black Galaxies head coach, Mas-Ud Didi Dramani, has announced a 32-man squad for the team’s pre-CHAN training camp as they prepare for their crucial 2025 African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers against Nigeria.
The camp will begin on Monday, November 25, 2024, at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence in Prampram. The players will undergo intensive training, including tactical drills, fitness sessions, and practice matches, to ensure they are well-prepared for the two-legged qualifier against Nigeria in December.
The team will camp for two weeks, with the first phase running from November 25 to December 5. After this, the camp will break for the national elections before resuming on December 8, 2024.
The Black Galaxies will host the first leg of the qualifier on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at a venue to be confirmed, with the return leg scheduled for December 27-29, 2024, in Nigeria.
Ghana previously defeated Nigeria in the qualifiers to advance to the 2023 CHAN tournament, and Coach Dramani will be hoping his side can replicate this success to secure qualification for the 2025 CHAN, which will be co-hosted by Tanzania, Kenya, and Uganda.
