Egypt international Mohamed Salah has opened up about his future at Liverpool as he nears expiration of contract.
The 32-year-old attacker, who is in the final year of his contract at Liverpool has disclosed he is yet to receive any contract from the club to stay at the club.
Salah delivered a masterclass performance when Liverpool defeated Southampton 3-2 at the St. Mary’s Stadium to snatch an important away win.
The highly-rated forward bagged a brace to inspire his outfit victory over Southampton on Sunday.
And speaking after the game, Salah revealed he is yet to receive a contract extension offer from the Reds.
‘We are almost in December and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay in the club. I’m probably more out than in.
“You know, I have been in the club for many years. There is no club like this. But in the end, it is not in my hands. As I said, it is December and I haven’t received anything yet about my future.
‘I love the fans. The fans love me. In the end, it is not in my hands or the fans’ hands.’
“Disappointed? Yes, I’m disappointed. Of course I’m disappointed with the situation”.
“I have not seen any sort of proposal from Liverpool so far”.
Salah has scored 10 goals in 12 Premier League games this season.
