Panama has set up a tough three-game warm-up plan before they face Ghana in their opening match at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Canada.
Head coach Thomas Christiansen has named his final 26-man roster for the tournament scheduled to be held across Mexico, Canada and the United States this summer.
The Central American team will use these friendlies to measure themselves against strong teams before heading to North America for the World Cup.
Los Canaleros kick off their preparation with a big game against five-time champions Brazil at the Maracanã in Rio de Janeiro. They’ll then return home to take on the Dominican Republic at Estadio Rommel Fernández Gutiérrez.
Their last warm-up match is against Bosnia and Herzegovina at Energizer Park in the U.S.

After those friendlies, Panama will move to their base in Ontario, Canada, to put the finishing touches on their preparations. Christiansen is likely to use the matches to evaluate players and lock in his tactics before the tournament kicks off.
Panama are in a tough Group L with Ghana, England, and Croatia. Their World Cup journey starts against the Black Stars on June 17 at Toronto Stadium.
On their side, Ghana are also stepping up preparations under head coach Carlos Queiroz.
The Black Stars are currently training in Cardiff and will play a friendly against Wales on June 2 before heading to North America for the tournament.
