Ghana U-20 defensive midfielder, Lord Afrifa, has spoken of his side’s determination to beat Central Africa Republic and advance to the next stage of the U20 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Black Satellites will take on Les Fauves in their final Group C game on Thursday, May 8 at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia.

Ghana kicked off their campaign with a 1-1 draw against DR Congo, before they went ahead to beat defending champions Senegal.

And Afrifa, who plays for the second team of the Austrian Bundesliga club SK Sturm Graz believes the Black Satellites are ready for the clash against Central Africa Republic.

“Tomorrow’s game will be tough. Central Africa Republic are good,  but we’re ready,” he said.

“The teams in this tournament have shown quality, but Ghana is ready for any challenge.”

The crunch decider leading to the road to the quarterfinals against CAR will kickoff at 15:00 GMT, as the Black Satellites aim to qualify for the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup which will be held in Chile on 27 September – 19 October.
