Asante Kotoko striker Albert Amoah has admitted the team could have pushed for more in their rollercoaster CAF Confederation Cup clash with Kwara United.

Amoah, who netted twice including a penalty, said: “I think we played very well, we wanted to score more goals, we got the goals but a few mistakes at the back, we conceded three goals.”

The Porcupine Warriors’ relentless attacking approach thrilled the fans but left them exposed at the back, giving Kwara United three goals in a high-octane encounter.

With a slender advantage ahead of the second leg in Nigeria, Kotoko will need to combine their goal-hungry style with some defensive discipline if they are to progress further in Africa's second most prestigious interclub competition.
