The Ghana men U-17 national team have suffered a 3-0 loss to host Côte d’Ivoire at the Stade Charles Konan Banny in their second group game of the ongoing WAFU Zone B Championship.

The Black Starlets delivered an impressive display in their first game where they managed to secure a 1-1 draw against Togo and even had their opponents chase the game at certain point despite having a man down.

This earned them a huge commendation from many but failed to live up to the height after an embarrassing 3-0 loss to the Young Elephants and are now sitting at the bottom of Group A

In the other group game, Niger won 3-1 over Togo which means Ghana will have to win their final game at all cost before they could advance to the knockout phase of the competition.

The Black Starlets will face Niger on Friday, September 26, 2025 in their final group game.
