The Bavarians recruitment department are reportedly tracking the teenage attacker of Congolese descent in an effort to lure him from their European heavyweights counterparts this summer

Bundesliga top guns Bayern Munich are eyeing French-born Congolese starlet Pierre Mounguengue from French Ligue 1 titans Paris Saint-Germain ahead of the forthcoming transfer window, per a report from the French media.

The 18-year-old forward, who is currently with the Paris SG U19 setup, has been penciled down as a viable target for those at the upper echelon of the Allianz Arena outfit and are looking forward to recruiting him for their youth team ranks in the summer.

Per French tabloid Newspaper L'Équipe, FCB are expressing concrete interest in the services of the Congo-prospect prodigy and are now readying themselves to test the resolve of the Parc des Princes outfit by poaching their prized jewel for the 2026-27 campaign.

The report added that fellow Ligue 1 rivals Paris FC are also shooting admiring glances at the promising striker in their bid to augment their forward line options with his potential recruitment in the summer.

With his current deal set to expire on June 30, 2026, the current French top-flight Champions have reportedly opened talks over contract extension with his representative and a deal is expected to be reached soon between both parties in the coming days given their determination to secure his future on a long-term deal beyond the new football season.

Mounguengue has figured in 33 games by netting 20 times and assisting 12 for PSG U19 setup across all contests in the 2025/26 campaign.

Given his Congolese roots, the Évry-Courcouronnes-born native could be a future cornerstone for the DR Congo national football team at the senior level on the international stage after featuring for the France U17, U18 and U19 national youth teams.
