The Turkish elite club have reportedly tabled a bid to the ltalian second division outfit for the signature of the 22-year-old midfielder of lvorian descent ahead of the summer window
Beşiktaş JK have made an official offer of €15 million to Serie B club Venezia FC for the services of ltalian-born lvorian youngster Issa Doumbia, according to a report from the ltalian media.
The promising attacking midfielder, who linked up with the Leoni Alati from lowly division club UC AlbinoLeffe in the summer of 2024, has been on fire after racking up 8 goals and assisting 5 in 35 appearances across all competitions so far this season.
With his glowing performances in the ltalian second tier contest, a host of Europe's leading sides including Newcastle United, Everton, Sporting Lisbon, Benfica, AS Roma, AC Milan and lnter - are all believed to be gunning for his signature ahead of the upcoming transfer window.
According to ltalian newspaper La Nuova Venezia, Beşiktaş and Venezia are still into negotiations over the potential transfer switch of the lvorian prospect in the summer.
The report added that Doumbia and the lstanbul-based club hierarchy have already agreed on personal terms as the two parties are expected to team up very soon should an agreement over his transfer move is reached between both clubs.
Given his lvorian descent, the Treviglio-born native still remains fit to switch nationality allegiance and play for the Côte d'Ivoire national football team at the senior level despite playing for the ltaly U21 national youth team.
