In an interview on Happy FM, Acquah confidently stated, "We are more experienced than Dreams FC." He pointed out their quarterfinalist status in the previous year's competition, emphasizing the significant difference in experience between the two teams.
Acquah highlighted Rivers United's seasoned history, especially considering Dreams FC's debut in the CAF Confederations Cup.
“We were quarterfinalists last year as compared to Dreams who are making their maiden appearance in the competition”.
The team's recent 3-0 triumph against APC Lobito in the first group game has further bolstered Acquah's confidence.
With the aim of securing two consecutive wins, Rivers United is set to face Dreams FC at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday, December 3, 2023. The team is expected to arrive in Ghana on Friday.
