Nsoatreman FC head coach Yaw Preko remains focused and cautious despite his team’s impressive 3-0 victory over Elect Sport in the first leg of their CAF Confederation Cup clash.
The Ghana FA Cup champions kicked off their debut African campaign with a commanding win at the Accra Sports Stadium, thanks to two goals from Abdul Rahman and a strike by Kwabena Adu Meider.
Despite the significant advantage, Preko is not taking anything for granted as his team prepares for the return leg in Yaoundé. Speaking ahead of the match, he emphasized the need for vigilance.
"We must ensure we stay sharp and alert because it’s not over yet," Preko stated. "I strongly believe they will come at us, and we have to be ready for it."
The decisive second leg between Elect-Sport FC and Nsoatreman FC is scheduled for a 3 pm kick-off at Stade Ahmadou Ahidjo in Yaoundé on Saturday, August 24. The winner of the tie will advance to the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round.
