Isaac Afful has stated that their lofty idea of accomplishing greatness in the CAF Champions League will propel them to the next stage of the competition.
The dependable defender played for FC Samartex over the weekend in the first leg of the preliminary tie against Victoria United at the Japoma Sports Stadium in Cameroon.
After the game Afful shared his excitement, stating that they're craving to achieve something significant with the club.
"I am super proud to be part of this generation of players at FC Samartex, whose dedication to their craft is unparalleled. The desire to achieve something significant for ourselves is simply incredible, and I am confident that this mentality will propel us to the next stage of the competition.
The second leg of the tie against Victoria United will come off on Saturday, August 24.
