The Belgian elite division club have reportedly captured the promising budding star of Congolese descent from their top-tier nemesis ahead of the summer

Belgian Pro League club Club Brugge have lured Belgian-born Congolese teen Jeffrey Mbambi from league rivals Royal Antwerp on a three-year contract, per a report from the Belgian media.

The 15-year-old, who was tipped for stardom with the Great Old has swapped the Bosuilstadion campaigners for the Jan Breydel Stadium outfit and would be linking up with them in the forthcoming transfer window.

According Belgian news outlet Het Nieuwsblad, Club Brugge would be paying a compensation fee to Royal Antwerp over the training development of the talented starlet attacker after snatching him away from them.

Given his glowing talent, the teenage sensation has already been tipped for greatness by football connoisseurs and could become a future prospect for the DR Congo national football team in the nearest future.
