Moses Armah Parker, the President of Medeama SC, has expressed his team's readiness for the CAF Champions League group stage.

This declaration follows Medeama SC's successful qualification for the group stage of the 2023/24 CAF Champions League. The Tarkwa-based club secured their historic spot in the group stage by defeating Guinean giants Horoya AC in the final phase of the preliminary round.

Despite this being Medeama's first appearance in the competition's group stage, Moses Armah Parker exudes confidence, believing his team can compete with any opponent they encounter.

“We are not afraid of any country the draw coming on the 6th that we will meet we have done it before Sundowns if you will remember we eliminated them,” he told Peace FM.

“TP [Mazembe] came here we beat them so me I am not scared of any club we will focus and add prayers too. Corporate bodies should come to our aid with Dreams they should support us we will break those records so that Africa will see that Ghana football has a lot of greatness,” he added.

Parker also called on corporate bodies to support Medeama SC's journey in the CAF Champions League, aiming to break records and showcase the greatness of Ghanaian football.

With this achievement, Medeama SC has become the latest Ghanaian club to reach the group stage of the CAF Champions League since Berekum Chelsea in 2012.
