Head coach of Dreams FC, Karim Zito has heaped praised on his enterprising striker John Antwi who played a key role for them to reach the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The Still Believe boys ploy into the CAF Confederation Cup group stage during their maiden appearance in the continental club competition.
Dreams secured a place after posting a 3-1 historic aggregate win over FC Kallon of Sierra Leone.
Zito singled out Antwi and spoke about his rich experience on the African football terrain following Saturday's truimph.
"John Antwi has been key for us in our African campaign, look at his wealth of experience, it was visible for all.” Indeed, John Antwi boasts an impressive resume, having played for prestigious clubs such as Al Ahly and Pyramids FC in Egypt," Zito said.
“Whenever he had the ball, you’d see opponents surround him in their numbers.” This recognition of Antwi’s prowess as a player demonstrates the fear he instills in opposing teams, making him a formidable force on the pitch."
Zito went ahead to commend Antwi’s leadership prowess, stating, “He managed his teammates very well, and they were all willing to learn from him, which benefited the team.” Antwi’s ability to guide and mentor his fellow players promises to be an invaluable asset to Dreams FC as they aim to make their mark in continental competitions."
