The Black Stars forward has underscored his commitment to make sure he thrives representing the senior national team.

In the build up to Ghana’s 2025 AFCON qualifier against Angola at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi on Thursday, September 5 at 16:00 GMT, the Coventry City player stated this in an interview with the press during the Black Stars training session at the Accra Sports Stadium.

“I know on the pitch, I want us to be victorious and when I come on, it's more of an opportunity to make a difference. I’ve got that in my heart that I want us to be successful as a nation. I’ve seen what we’ve done in the past and we want to go on and achieve big things like that and more so I’m ready to do my bit to contribute.”

The Black Stars will train at the Baba Yara Stadium later today (Tuesday) before rounding off their training sessions on Wednesday.

Ghana will travel to Morocco for the second Group F game against Niger on Monday, September 9 at the Berkane Municipal Stadium.
