Juventus are reportedly monitoring Real Madrid and Morocco international Brahim Díaz as a backup option should they fail to secure a deal for Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva.

Silva, who is expected to leave City on a free transfer at the end of the 2025/26 season, has been strongly linked with a switch to Turin. However, the Serie A giants are now preparing alternative targets amid uncertainty over the move.

According to reports in Italy, Juventus have identified Díaz as a potential “plan B” if negotiations for Silva do not progress as expected.

The situation is also influenced by Juventus’ European qualification hopes, with the club currently sitting outside the top four in Serie A. Failure to qualify for the UEFA Champions League could further complicate their pursuit of top-level targets.

Díaz, meanwhile, has found playing time limited at Real Madrid, and his future is said to be under review depending on the plans of incoming manager José Mourinho.

Juventus are expected to make a final decision on their primary attacking target as the transfer window approaches.
