Ghana Football Association (GFA) spokesperson, Henry Asante Twum has stated that the performance of players of the Black Stars in their various club's will work to their advantage against Sudan.



The Black Stars of Ghana will resume their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers against Sudan on Thursday, October 10.



In an interview with Asempa FM ahead of the game, Asante Twum believes the players are professionals and understand the need to annex victory which will help their chances of securing qualification.



"The performance of our players at their respective clubs will work to our advantage against Sudan.



"This is international football, but we are confident because these are international players, and they understand the situation," he added.



Ghana will host Sudan on Thursday at the Accra Sports Stadium before travelling to Benina, Libya for the return leg on October 14.



The Black Stars are looking to surge from the third spot of Group F, having failed to secure maximum points from their opening two matches against Angola and Niger.
