FC Samartex attacker, Emmanuel Mamah said on Wednesday that he was feeling optimistic about his team's upcoming CAF Champions League second round of the preliminary stage match against Raja Casablanca.
During the first leg, Samartex recorded a 2-2 draw stalemate with the North African powerhouse.
Speaking to the club's media ahead of Saturday's clash, the enterprising goal sniffer gave his assurance that they will step up their level of play.
"We're feeling very optimistic about the upcoming second leg of the fixture, despite still being considered the underdog. There's absolutely no pressure on us, which allows us to play with a sense of freedom and confidence," Mamah said.
"Our main objective is to build on the strong performance we showcased last Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium," he reiterated.
The Timber Giants would have to win this crucial encounter to advance to the group stage of the inter-club competition.
The game will be played on Saturday, September 21, at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium, with kick off at 19:00 GMT
