FC Samartex 1996 assistant captain, Ebenezer Acquah said on Thursday that they are not the kind of club who thinks too much about defeat.
But victory will almost certainly be on the minds of many Timber Giants fans when Samartex take on Raja Casablanca in their CAF Champions League second round of the preliminary stage clash on Saturday, a match that will help determine who advances to the group stage.
During the first leg, Samartex managed a 2-2 draw stalemate with the North African giants.
However, ahead of the fierce encounter this weekend, Acquah, speaking to the club's portal, restated the players' dedication and courage.
"It's obvious that we have a challenging task ahead of us, but we are fully committed to putting forth every effort and utilizing all our resources throughout the entirety of the game to ensure the best possible outcome," he said.
The highly anticipated clash will be played on Saturday, 21st September, at the Larbi Zaouli Stadium, with kick off at 19:00 GMT
