In their quest to capture the third place in the ongoing 2024 WAFU Zone B Championship, Black Starlets have been preparing rigorously and studying footage of their Nigerian opponents as they are familiar with their style of play.

 

Adding to the stiff challenge, Ghana U17 will be without head coach Laryea Kingston, who resigned from his position.



Speaking ahead of the game, assistant coach of the Black Starlets, Nana Agyemang who will be in the dugout on the day - is confident of a positive result in their match against Nigeria later today.



“The boys are ready for action on Tuesday,” he said after the team’s training session, as reported by the Ghana FA portal.



“They understand the importance of giving their all in Nigeria's game, aiming to bring home some silverware from this tournament hosted by Ghana,” Nana Agyemang added.



The match between Ghana and Nigeria will come-off this afternoon at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium, with kick-off slated to come off at 16:00GMT (4:00pm).
