Black Starlets head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum has expressed readiness towards their second group game against host Côte d’Ivoire in the ongoing WAFU Zone B U-17 Championship.
The Ghana men U-17 kicked off their campaign on Saturday, September 20, where they drew 1-1 against Togo in a game they went down by a man in just three minutes from the start.
The team has since been putting in the work at training looking to secure all three points this time around in what will be a very difficult game against the host in Yamoussoukro.
In a pre-match interview, Prosper Narteh spoke with so much optimism that they are very prepared and this is due to what he saw from his players at training
“I think we’re very ready looking at what we have done so far in the two days after our first game. We just had our recovery session, we spoke about the match, we had our video session to identify what we did that was right and wrong and we have done it on the pitch too so we’re more than ready.”
The game is slated for 18:00GMT (6:00pm) later this evening at the Stade Charles Konan Banny.
