Black Stars striker, Inaki Williams is currently a strong doubt for Ghana's upcoming games against Angola and Niger in the final two fixtures of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers next week.
The 30-year-old last featured against Ludogorets Razgrad where he scored to propel Athletic Club to a precious 1-2 away victory in the Europa League.
However, it was subsequently announced the lanky striker has sustained a hamstring injury and couldn't recover on time despite being assessed severally by the medical team and is out of their La Liga game against Real Valladolid this Sunday.
Official club statement reads;
“The forward will be unavailable for Sunday's La Liga clash with Real Valladolid,”
“Athletic Club forward Iñaki Williams will miss Sunday's LaLiga clash with Real Valladolid after straining his left hamstring muscles."
With this injury, Inaki who made coach Otto Addo's squad that was announced last Thursday for this international window, is most likely to miss as he is currently a strong doubt and is most likely he will be replaced.
Inaki Williams has now netted five goals and registered four assists in sixteen appearances in all competitions so far this season.
