KRC Genk winger, Christopher Bonsu Baah has been handed his maiden Black Stars call-up ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar next week.
The 20-year-old is currently shinning like a diamond in his second season with the Smurfs who are currently leading the Belgian Jupiler Pro League with nine-points gap.
The mercurial wideman has scored three goals and registered three assists in 32 appearances in all competitions so far this campaign and is looking very likely he will add up his numbers subsequently.
The former Golden Boy award nominee had his outstanding display noticed by coach Otto Addo who has now granted him his first invite and is hoping to make a very good use of the opportunity
The four-time African champions are currently sitting in second place in Group I of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers with 9 points, having won three and lost one after four matches.
The Black Stars will pitch camp on Monday, March 17, where they hold four training sessions before they take on Chad on March 21.
They will travel to Al Hoceima in Morocco afterwards to play Madagascar in match-day six on March 24.
