Agent of Ghanaian centre-back Kennedy Boateng has confirmed Steaua București interest in signing him in the upcoming transfer window, with the Romanian SuperLiga heavyweights told a transfer deal could be possible if they are able to table a reasonable fee for his signature next term.
The 28-year-old, currently plying his trade with fellow elite division side FC Dinamo, has caught the attention of their league rivals, with their tough-talking club's chief Gigi Becali believed to be an avid admirer of the former SC Austria Lustenau defender in the top-flight.
And now, his representative Tony Appiah has acknowledged the interest in his clent's services and he is not ruling out a possible deal with his current suitors if they offer a good price for him in the summer window, telling newspaper ProSport: ''In football, every player has a price and a value. FCSB is a very good club and, of course, they can reach an agreement with Dinamo. You never know in football, but, at the moment, Boateng is happy at Dinamo. FCSB is a top club.''
Boateng has been impressive with stupendous outings so far this season after involving in 30 games for FC Dinamo across all competitions in this ongoing campaign.
Born to a Ghanaian father and a Togolese mother in Ghana, Boateng opted to represent Togo at the international level.
