The Romanian second-tier side have  parted ways with the former Sassuolo midfield enforcer ahead of the summer transfer window

Liga ll outfit Ceahlăul Piatra Neamț have mutually severed ties with veteran Ghana international midfielder Raman Chibsah after spending one season together in the lower division contest.

With Raman's deal up in June this year, the 32-year-old enforcer has now gone his separate ways with the Romanian side and would be looking forward to sealing a deal with new suitors in the summer as he is currently in the free agency pool ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

An excerpt of official confirmation over the release of the former Parma man read via the club's Facebook Page: ''Ghanaian midfielder Raman Yussif Chibsah (32 years old) has reached a mutual agreement with CSM Ceahlăul and will no longer continue to defend the colors of our club. Having arrived last fall, Chibsah quickly proved to be useful to the team and the locker room, and through the experience and value shown, he managed to bring added security and combativeness to our team.''

Raman also bid a farewell to his employers by stating; ''I would like to thank my teammates, the coach and his team, the president, Mr. Măzărianu and all the fans of CSM Ceahlăul for this season together. Personally, it was a pleasant experience. I had no expectations of any kind before coming to Romania, to come to Piatra Neamț, I just accepted the reality and tried to settle in as quickly as possible. The level of the championship is good and I noticed many young and talented players. The only challenge is the facilities for training and games, which need to be improved.''

Before leaving Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt, he figured in 20 games across all competitions in this football season.

He has a vast experience in football contests across Europe having had spells with Sassulo, Parma, Frosinone, Benevento, Gaziantep FK and VfL Bochum in his footballing career so far.

The midfield enforcer currently boasts of 2 caps with the Ghana Senior Men's National Team at the international level.
