Andre Ayew says his move to NAC Breda was a clear choice based on belief, not convenience.

The Ghana forward revealed that he had several offers while he was back home dealing with personal matters, but decided to follow what he felt was right for his career.

“When I was in Ghana, I was quite busy with personal stuff, and I had many options, but I chose NAC Breda because of the city and the football project,” Ayew said.

The 34-year-old explained that his decision was about more than just joining a new club. He said he still wants strong competition, a clear plan and an exciting atmosphere.

“I’m a footballer, and I always want to play at the highest level,” he added. “I’m a player who plays with a lot of energy and loves clubs with stadiums that make noise.”

Ayew has played across Europe and the Middle East, and has featured in major tournaments with Ghana. He says those experiences have shaped what he looks for in a club.
