Partey and team-mate Jorginho

The Gunners' gaffer has hinted that the Ghanaian enforcer and his Italian team-mate could part ways with his side next summer given their current contractual obligations with the North London outfit

Ghana international midfielder Thomas Partey could possibly leave Arsenal in the summer of 2025 considering his contract situations with the Emirates Stadium campaigners, according to his manager Mikel Arteta.

The 31-year-old, who has been on a top form for his side so far this season, will have his running contract with the English giants expire in June this year.

However, with fresh terms yet to be tabled before him, the former Atlético Madrid midfield enforcer has now been tipped by the Spaniard tactician to move on when his deal comes to a close next summer.

The Arsenal boss said of the Ghanaian midfielder and his Italian team-mate Jorginho over their contract situations ahead of his side's Premier League clash with Brighton, telling Sky Sports: ''With their situation in the contracts, it is a possibility."It is about close communication with them to understand the idea about what they want to do and what our intentions are. Then decide for everybody what the best options are. ''Two players that I am very happy with and have such a value in the squad. I want to keep them with the right mind frame."

He added when pressed further over his willingness to keep them at the Emirates Stadium beyond the summer: ''It is not about what I want, it is about what they have in their minds. "I don't want to have these conversations now, I want to have them much later. We will see what we can do."

Partey has so far netted 2 goals and provided 2 assists in 26 games across all competitions for Arsenal in this current football campaign.

He currently boasts of 49 caps for Ghana men's senior national team, the Black Stars with 13 goals to his name.
