Premier League interest in Ghanaian midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi is heating up, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United reportedly stepping up their pursuit of the 20-year-old FC Nordsjaelland midfielder.
According to TeamTalk, scouts and representatives from the three clubs were in attendance over the weekend to watch Yirenkyi in action as Nordsjaelland secured a 2-1 victory over Sonderjyske in the Danish Superliga.
The Ghanaian midfielder delivered a stellar performance, opening the scoring and later providing the assist for the winning goal. His commanding presence in midfield, ability to read the game, and accurate forward passing have drawn comparisons to compatriot Michael Essien.
