Premier League interest in Ghanaian midfielder Caleb Yirenkyi is heating up, with Arsenal, Chelsea, and Manchester United reportedly stepping up their pursuit of the 20-year-old FC Nordsjaelland midfielder.

According to TeamTalk, scouts and representatives from the three clubs were in attendance over the weekend to watch Yirenkyi in action as Nordsjaelland secured a 2-1 victory over Sonderjyske in the Danish Superliga.

The Ghanaian midfielder delivered a stellar performance, opening the scoring and later providing the assist for the winning goal. His commanding presence in midfield, ability to read the game, and accurate forward passing have drawn comparisons to compatriot Michael Essien.

The hunt for Yirenkyi is not limited to England’s biggest clubs. Brighton & Hove Albion have monitored his progress since last year, while Tottenham Hotspur, Newcastle United, Nottingham Forest, Crystal Palace, Brentford, and West Ham United are also keeping tabs on the emerging talent.

FC Nordsjaelland currently have no pressure to sell their midfield prodigy. The Danish side rejected a January bid of around £15 million and recently secured Yirenkyi on a long-term contract, signaling their intent to retain him.

Any potential summer transfer is now anticipated to command a fee exceeding €25 million, setting the stage for one of Europe’s most competitive transfer races. Caleb Yirenkyi’s blend of skill, physicality, and tactical intelligence has made him one of the most sought-after young midfielders in Europe.
