Ghanaian midfielder Abdul Halik Hudu has secured a move to Sporting Club Delhi, marking the next step in his career in India after a strong run with Rajasthan United.

The 25-year-old, who previously featured for Swedish top-flight side Hammarby IF, makes the switch within the Indian football scene following a series of consistent and eye-catching displays. The transfer was successfully completed through Kingsports Management, who confirmed the agreement between both clubs.

Hudu joined Rajasthan United in October 2025 and quickly became a central figure in the team’s setup, earning praise for his work rate and influence in midfield.

He gained further recognition during the Super Cup, where his performances stood out against clubs from the Indian Super League. The Ghanaian played a key role as Rajasthan secured a memorable win over Mumbai City FC and battled to a draw against Delhi — the very club he has now joined.

Before moving to India, Hudu built valuable experience across Europe. He signed for Hammarby IF in 2018 from Ghanaian side Inter Allies FC and later departed permanently in 2021 after several loan spells to join Danish club Lyngby BK.

He went on to feature for Swedish teams AFC Eskilstuna and GIF Sundsvall, further developing his game across different competitive environments.

His move to Sporting Club Delhi opens a fresh chapter, with the midfielder expected to add energy, composure, and tactical awareness to the capital-based side. Club officials will be hoping his experience and leadership qualities strengthen the squad ahead of upcoming competitions.
