The 19-year-old centre-back, who is a former Chelsea youth player, has been released by the Villa Park outfit.
English Premier League side Aston Villa have announced the departure of Paul Nana Appiah following the expiration of his contract.
Appiah was among the list of players who were confirmed by Aston Villa to leave the club ahead of their 2022/23 season.
He was born to Ghanaian parents in the United Kingdom and started his career with the Chelsea academy before leaving in 2019 to join Aston Villa.
Appiah played an instrumental role in Aston Villa's U18 English FA Youth Cup triumph after defeating Liverpool to clinch the tile last season.
Appiah captained the Aston Villa Under-18 team during the 2020/21 season. He was part of the team that lifted the FA Youth Cup in May 2021, scoring in the quarter-final.
He also featured for the Under-23 squad during the last campaign, playing twice in the EFL Trophy against Fleetwood Town and Carlisle United.
