Italian club Atalanta have completed the signing of young Ghanaian forward Yaw Asamoah Agyei from Greater Accra Division Two side EurAfrica FC.

The 18-year-old has joined the Serie A outfit on a 1½-year contract, with an option to extend the deal for a further two years.

Agyei earned the move after a series of impressive performances at domestic level, where he showed strong goal-scoring and creative numbers.

In 37 Division Two league matches for EurAfrica FC, he scored 19 goals and provided 20 assists. Last season, he registered 10 goals and nine assists, and this campaign he has already recorded nine goals and 11 assists in just 18 matches.

The transfer makes Agyei the second player to move from EurAfrica FC to Atalanta in the past two years, following midfielder Anthony Kenneth Mensah’s move in February 2024. Both transfers were arranged by Arthurlegacy Sports.
