The Rojiblancos are reportedly closing in on securing the services of the former Ajax man from the English top-tier outfit, with a deal already in place between the Ghanaian playmaker and the Spanish giants
La Liga side Atletico Madrid are edging closer to signing Ghana international attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus from Premier League outfit Tottenham Hotspur, according to an emerging report from British media.
The Right to Dream academy graduate, who joined the Lilywhites from top-flight rivals West Ham in the summer of 2025, has so far proven to be a central figure at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium following his five-star performances in this current campaign.
Per British outlet TopSkills Sports UK, the 25-year-old has already agreed to join up with the Spanish elite division top guns on a four-and-a-half-year contract as the Metropolitano Stadium campaigners are hell-bent to reinforce their midfield attacking options with his capturing in the summer.
The report further indicated that negotiations between both clubs are currently ongoing, with the Spanish suitors hoping to land the former Ghana U17 star on a reduced fee if the English outfit end up in relegation at the end of the season.
Kudus has so far taken in 26 appearances by netting 3 times and setting up another 6 for Spurs across all contests in this 2025-26 campaign.
The former FC Nordsjaelland mercurial midfielder is currently nursing a Hamstring injury and he is expected to return to action next month.
With the 2026 FIFA World Cup fast approaching, the Ghana FA technical handlers would be eager to see their talismanic midfielder back in great fashion for the June global football event in the USA, Canada and Mexico.
