Black Stars defender, Baba Abdul Rahman continues with his fine form after scoring again for FC PAOK in their 1-3 defeat to Belgian side KRC Genk in a preseason friendly at the Horst Training Camp.
The lanky lateral had a fantastic campaign last season with the Black and Whites having contributed 9 goals in 28 matches to propel them to Greek Super League triumph.
Baba, who turned 30 early this month, decided to cut his holidays short to join his teammates for preseason in order to get himself in a perfect shape for the upcoming season.
Baba Rahman made the starting line up and got a consolation goal just on the stroke of half time for his side who due to goals from Noah Adedeji-Sternberg and Jarne Steuckers were two goals down.
With six minutes to full time, the Smurfs sealed the win thanks to a solo finish from Swiss international Andi Zeqiri.
PAOK FC will continue to intensify preparations in their preseason when they face Union Saint-Gilloise and Vitesse Armhem all on Saturday, July 13, 2024.
This will also serve as preparations towards their 2024/25 UEFA Champions League qualifiers as they look to make the group stages.
